Robert Covington | Law Educator
Professor Robert Covington held a 46-year tenure at Vanderbilt Law School. He joined the university right after his own graduation from the school in 1961. Capable of teaching a wide range of legal subject matter, his focus was on labor law. His knowledge of evidence, insurance, and legal method and education has resulted in publishing various books and articles. Additionally, Professor Covington has contributed to textbooks, including Employment Law in a Nutshell and Legal Protection for the Individual Employee.
Through the years, Professor Covington maintained affiliation with the American Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association, the American Arbitration Association, the Tennessee Employment Relations Research Association, the Order of Coif and Phi Beta Kappa.
